Working on designing the key visual of “Occult: Pack me, Quake me”, collected many materials related to oriental witchcraft, including a lot of photos of Chinses runes and Japanese Onmyoji. Those elements deliver a sense of horror movie, which deviates from the original ideas of the song. Finally, decided to use Japanese “Goshuin” patterns – a seal stamp given to worshippers as a proof that you have visited a specific shrine. The seal stamps are made according to the characteristics of those different shrines. Created a faceless portrait with Goshuin patterns on her body. By using the strong contrast between black and gold, the charisma and the mysterious atmosphere of the song blended with the music visually in a sensible way.
